Shaping Europe will be the theme for the 2023 volume of Rechtskultur. The making of Europe has been at the core of legal, political, philosophical, and economic debates for decades. Nowadays, the identity of the European construction is at stake. By Shaping Europe the editors want to focus on how law makers, courts and legal scholars contributed to different concepts and narratives of Europe along the centuries and on the heritage of these different views.
